16 JUNE 2025
Are you training your employees to spot phishing emails?
Employees should receive regular training to identify and respond to phishing attempts effectively.
This includes ongoing education, practical guidance on recognising suspicious emails. Training should include simulated phishing exercises to test and reinforce awareness in real-world scenarios.
By maintaining a culture of vigilance, organisations will significantly reduce the risk of falling victim to social engineering attacks and protect sensitive data from compromise.

17 JUNE 2025
Have you done a thorough background check on all your employees?
Including a criminal background check?
All employees should undergo comprehensive background checks as part of our recruitment process.
This includes criminal background screenings, employment verification, and other relevant checks to ensure the integrity, reliability, and security of your workforce.

18 JUNE 2025
When last have you done a thorough inspection of your alarm systems and other home security?
To ensure your home remains secure, it is recommended to conduct a full inspection of your alarm system and security setup at least once a year.
In higher-risk or more vulnerable areas, more frequent checks, every three to six months, are advisable.
Routine maintenance helps confirm that all components, including alarms, locks, surveillance cameras, motion detectors, and sensors, are functioning correctly.
Identifying and fixing faults early can prevent system failure when it's needed most.
Consistent inspections not only maintain the reliability of your security infrastructure but also give you peace of mind, knowing your home is well-protected.

19 JUNE 2025
Do you know what steps to take if you witness a crime or an emergency in your community?
If you witness a crime or an emergency, your first priority is to ensure your own safety.
Once you are in a secure position, immediately contact emergency services and provide them with accurate and specific information about the incident.
Follow the instructions given by emergency responders carefully.
Avoid speculating or sharing unverified details, as misinformation can hinder response efforts.
When authorities arrive, cooperate fully and provide any relevant observations that may assist in their investigation or response.
Staying calm, cautious, and cooperative can make a critical difference in how effectively a situation is handled.

20 JUNE 2025
Does your business have an online presence with clear and verified contact information for your company?
Companies should prioritise a polished and trustworthy online presence.
This includes maintaining clear, reliable, and verified contact information, such as a professional website, official email addresses, active phone lines, and a physical business address.
A well-presented and accessible digital profile not only builds credibility but also ensures that customers, partners, and stakeholders can easily reach out with confidence.
In today’s digital landscape, clarity and transparency are key to establishing lasting professional relationships.
