BACKGROUND OF THE CASE:
Specialised Security Services (SSS), under the leadership of Mr. Mike Bolhuis, is appealing to the public for information that may assist in locating Ms. Rejoice Mataviri in connection with a reported theft case registered at Garsfontein SAPS.
According to the information provided to SSS, Ms. Mataviri had been employed as a domestic worker in the complainant’s household for approximately ten years. On Thursday, 4 September 2026, she reportedly removed money from a safe while the homeowner was away. She allegedly failed to return to the residence thereafter.
Information provided to SSS indicates that, according to Home Affairs records, Ms. Mataviri departed South Africa for Zimbabwe and did not subsequently return to the country. Her current whereabouts have not been independently established in the information available to SSS.
The matter was reported to Garsfontein SAPS under Theft Case 79/09/2026. The investigation and any further legal proceedings remain subject to the relevant authorities and applicable legal processes.
PUBLIC APPEAL FOR INFORMATION:
SSS requests that anyone with credible information concerning Ms. Rejoice Mataviri’s current whereabouts or information relevant to this investigation contact the SSS Specialist Investigator.
