A case of fraud was opened against Ms. Oliver in Naboomspruit under SAPS CAS 223/03/2025,
and following an extensive investigation, she was traced to Roodepoort,
where she was arrested on Thursday, 13 November 2025.
SSS commends the unwavering commitment and professionalism of the West Rand K9 Unit
for their decisive action in apprehending this repeat fraudster.
BACKGROUND AND PROFILE:
Ms. Chantel Oliver has once again drawn public attention for her ongoing fraudulent conduct — a pattern of deceit that has deeply affected numerous South Africans.
Her notoriety is well established, as she first gained widespread recognition for repeatedly defrauding members of the public through various schemes.

Her actions and personality became the subject of widespread public discussion, cementing her reputation as one of South Africa’s most shameless repeat offenders in the realm of personal and commercial fraud.
CURRENT CASE DETAILS:
Recent investigations have confirmed that Ms Oliver has continued her fraudulent operations by offering services and goods that she never intended to deliver.
Numerous victims have reported making payments based on her false promises, only to be ignored, misled, or placated with further empty assurances.
When confronted, she repeatedly promised to fulfil her obligations — promises that, as in previous cases, were never kept.
Following multiple complaints and the collection of evidence from defrauded individuals, Ms. Oliver was taken into custody earlier today.
She currently awaits trial.
Notably, she already holds a suspended sentence from earlier convictions, reflecting a long history of disregard for both the law and her victims.
Specialised Security Services (SSS) previously investigated and exposed Ms. Oliver’s extensive network of deceit.
Despite being given multiple opportunities to reform — including direct engagement and public warnings — Ms. Oliver disregarded all advice and continued her criminal activities.
In previous SSS projects, her name was listed among repeat fraudsters who exploit public trust, often posing as service providers or sellers of products that never materialise.
SSS has consistently cautioned the public against transferring funds to unverified individuals or companies, especially those who rely on emotional manipulation and fabricated credentials to gain victims’ confidence.
Although the public often calls for investigations into individuals like Ms. Chantel Oliver, justice cannot be served
without formal criminal cases being opened with the South African Police Service (SAPS).
Public outcry alone does not initiate prosecution — only an official case number allows investigators and
prosecutors to take lawful action. This lack of formal reporting enables repeat offenders such as Ms. Oliver
to continue deceiving and defrauding unsuspecting victims with impunity.
Specialised Security Services, therefore, urges every person who has fallen victim to Ms. Oliver’s fraudulent activities,
whether through unpaid services, undelivered goods, or financial loss, to come forward immediately
and contact the SSS Specialist Investigator.
