arrested Mr. Ockert Engelbrecht yesterday, on 31 July 2024,
on charges of fraud and theft of a motor vehicle case:
Midrand SAPS CAS 104/07/2024.
Mr. Ockert Engelbrecht is a habitual criminal.
SSS has received numerous complaints regarding him.

THE MOST RECENT CASE, FOR WHICH MR. ENGELBRECHT WAS ARRESTED:
Mr. Ockert Engelbrecht promised to sell our client's vehicle on his behalf.
He advertised the vehicle, a white Mercedes-Benz, on Facebook Marketplace.
As soon as Mr. Engelbrecht received the vehicle to sell, he provided it as collateral for money he owed to someone else.
A case of vehicle theft has been opened.

Mr. Engelbrecht was arrested at his father's house in Pierre Van Ryneveld, Pretoria.
SSS works closely with the authorities to apprehend and arrest criminals.
