𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴/𝗽𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴:

Fraudsters go out of their way to gain access to your login details.

As seen in the pictures below, a fraudster will start a conversation with you with the goal of getting you to click on a link that leads to a fake Facebook Login Page.

Once you enter your login details on the page, the information is captured and your Facebook account is taken over by the fraudster. From that point forward, your login information is changed and you are effectively logged out of your account.

𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗧𝗣 𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲

Protect your online accounts and help reduce online scams by being aware of the risks involved when an existing account is hacked. Fraudsters have a much higher success rate when defrauding the public from an existing account, compared to a newly created cloned account.
