SUCCESS PROJECT: WANTED FOR FRAUD AND THEFT - JUAN TALJAARD ARRESTED

On 4 July 2025, Specialised Security Services (SSS) reposted a public alert regarding Juan Taljaard,
for whom a warrant of arrest had been issued in connection with theft and fraud charges.

SAPS Case number: KAMEELDRIFT EAST CAS 79/01/2021
In addition to the warrant of arrest issued against Mr. Juan Taljaard, it is important to note that he had been actively evading his responsibilities to such an extent that he disappeared without a trace, prompting concerned parties to open a missing persons case with the police.
Mr. Taljaard was reported missing in June 2021.
The case number is: KAMEELDRIFT EAST 3/06/2021.
This deceptive behaviour obstructed legal proceedings and misled authorities and the public, diverting valuable resources and creating unnecessary alarm. His eventual surrender is a clear indication that sustained pressure from Specialised Security Services and the public played a decisive role in bringing this matter to a turning point.
Following increasing public pressure, Mr. Taljaard voluntarily presented himself at the Ceres SAPS Police Station
in the Western Cape, on 11 July 2025. On Sunday, 13 July 2025, members of the Kameeldrift East SAPS
travelled to Ceres and formally took custody of Mr. Taljaard, transporting him back to Pretoria.
He is currently being held in custody at the Kameeldrift East police station’s holding cells,
where he will remain pending further legal proceedings.
This arrest of Mr. Juan Taljaard is a direct result of the ongoing impact of Specialised Security Services' public projects,
which continue to expose criminals and bring their actions to light.
Through our extensive national and international reach, and with the invaluable assistance of a committed and vigilant public, we have once again shown that justice knows no boundaries.
We appreciate the combined efforts of law enforcement and public support to hold Mr. Taljaard accountable for his actions.
