THE CASE:
On 19 October 2023, our client delivered his Pajero vehicle to Blackbird Trading, located on Odendaal Street in Meyerspark, for repairs.
The client paid Blackbird Trading upfront in accordance with the quotation provided for the work to be completed.
In August 2024, the services of SSS were engaged to ensure that the vehicle repairs would be completed as the agreed-upon deadline of 28 June 2024 has passed.
However, after several site visits to Blackbird Trading, it was observed that no work had been carried out on the vehicle.
On 2 December 2024, following multiple attempts to secure a refund for the upfront payment, SSS successfully arranged to remove the vehicle from Blackbird Trading to an alternative location.
Despite repeated assurances from Blackbird Trading that a refund would be issued, no refund has been received to date.
