PROJECT: PERSON OF INTEREST FAKES HER DEATH TO ESCAPE SSS

This is one of many example cases that Specialised Security Services has encountered throughout the years where individuals fake their death, critical illness (like cancer or stroke), and even present false paperwork as "evidence".
This "use of tragedy" to avoid responsibility or accountability has been used in several high-profile cases as an escape,
and with the rise of the social media era, these methods have increased dramatically and are now used almost daily.
Mr. Bolhuis has warned over the years that by presenting a fake livelihood online and by misrepresenting circumstances to fit a narrative, one is not only engaging in highly dangerous behaviour but is also acting very selfishly.
It seldom works, as the truth is always exposed one way or another.

THE CASE:
Specialised Security Services was appointed in March 2026 by the founder and director of a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) based in Midrand.
The organisation has been operating for approximately 26 years and is primarily dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals from displaced and vulnerable communities.
Over the years, the PBO has established itself as a reputable organisation committed to animal welfare and community support.
In 2021, the organisation sought to appoint a new accountant to manage its financial affairs.
During this process, an individual identified as Ms. Nadia Schult was recommended to the organisation by a third party.
Based on this referral, she was considered for the position and subsequently became involved in the organisation's financial administration.
As part of her duties, Ms. Nadia Schult was entrusted with the management of all financial matters relating to the organisation.
This included receiving and administering official correspondence and statutory documentation on behalf of the PBO.
Such documentation included, but was not limited to, tax certificates, tax receipts, PAYE confirmations, tax compliance-related communications, UIF correspondence, and Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) notifications and documentation.
Concerns regarding Mrs.
Nadia Schult's administration of the organisation's affairs began to emerge after 2023, when the founder and director repeatedly requested access to various official financial and statutory records.
Despite numerous requests, Ms. Nadia Schult was unable to provide the required documentation on time and consistently offered explanations and reasons for the delays.
Over time, these repeated delays and the absence of supporting documentation gave rise to suspicion regarding the status and management of the organisation's financial and regulatory affairs.
The matter escalated when the founder and director eventually obtained access to the organisation's CIPC profile.
Upon reviewing the records, it was discovered that the organisation had been deregistered.
This discovery raised serious concerns regarding the administration of the organisation's statutory obligations and prompted the need for further investigation into the circumstances that led to the deregistration and the handling of the organisation's financial and regulatory affairs.

THE INVESTIGATION:
Following the appointment of SSS, a comprehensive investigation and evaluation were conducted based on the information and documentation provided.
An extensive background investigation was subsequently carried out on the subject, Ms. Nadia Schult.
Upon completion of the preliminary investigation, SSS engaged Ms. Schult regarding the financial losses suffered by our client, as well as the deregistration of our client's organisation.
This deregistration resulted in financial penalties being imposed on our client and required significant time, effort, and resources to restore the organisation's registered status.
During the engagement, Ms. Schult did not dispute the facts presented to her. Instead, she immediately requested that repayment arrangements be discussed in respect of the outstanding monies owed.
After various repayment options were presented, Ms. Schult requested additional time to consider the proposals.
Shortly thereafter, the SSS investigating officer assigned to the matter, Ms. Danielle Wiering, received communication from an individual claiming to have been verbally mandated by Ms. Schult's family to administer her estate, as she was allegedly deceased.
According to this individual, who represented himself as an attorney, Ms. Schult passed away on 14 May 2026. SSS was subsequently provided with a photograph containing funeral service information.
REASONS WHY SSS IS OF THE OPINION THAT MS. SCHULT MAY HAVE FALSELY REPRESENTED HER DEATH:
SSS contacted the venue where the funeral service was allegedly held and received confirmation that no funeral or memorial service for Ms. Nadia Schult took place at the venue on 16 May 2026.
SSS established that Ms. Schult remains active on social media platforms, publishing content and engaging online.
Despite numerous requests, no death certificate or other official proof of death has been provided to SSS.
No indication has been found on the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) database to suggest that Ms. Schult has been recorded as deceased.
The individual claiming to act as the family's attorney has, despite repeated requests, failed to provide verifiable professional credentials or sufficient information to confirm his identity and authority to act on behalf of the estate.
BASED ON THE ABOVE FINDINGS, SSS HAS REASONABLE GROUNDS TO QUESTION THE VALIDITY OF
THE CLAIM THAT MS. NADIA SCHULT IS DECEASED AND REMAINS OF THE OPINION THAT FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO THIS MATTER IS WARRANTED.
