WARRANT OF ARREST ISSUED FOR KENNETH PARKER VAN ROOYEN
Specialised Security Services (SSS) requests members of the public to provide any relevant information
that may assist in identifying, locating and bringing persons suspected of committing serious criminal offences
to the attention of the appropriate authorities.
One such individual is Kenneth Parker Van Rooyen, who is being sought in connection with matters under investigation.
Members of the public are urged not to confront, approach or attempt to apprehend any person who may be suspected
of criminal conduct. Any information regarding the whereabouts, activities, associates, vehicles, businesses
or other relevant details relating to Kenneth Parker Van Rooyen should be reported to Specialised Security Services
or the South African Police Service.
Information provided to investigators will be assessed and, where appropriate,
shared with the relevant law-enforcement authorities for further investigation.

CASE DETAILS:
Our client employed Mr. Kenneth Parker Van Rooyen as a truck driver.
During his employment, Mr. Van Rooyen represented to our client that he was a certified diamond dealer and displayed what he claimed to be certification on his cellular phone.
Relying on these representations, our client agreed with Mr. Van Rooyen and paid an amount exceeding R300,000.00 into his bank account.
Mr. Van Rooyen allegedly represented that he would use the funds to purchase legally sourced diamonds and sell them in Dubai at a profit.
These representations were false and Mr. Van Rooyen intentionally induced our client to part with the funds.
On 17 July 2023, Mr. Van Rooyen abandoned our client's truck at North Rand Truck Stop and has not been located since.
Information received indicates that Mr. Van Rooyen has frequented strip clubs and cage-fighting venues.
Our client subsequently opened a criminal case against Mr. Van Rooyen at Mafube/Frankfort SAPS, under Case Number 06/08/2023.
A trucking company then employed Mr. Van Rooyen.
The owner of the company became aware that a warrant for Mr. Van Rooyen's arrest had been issued and informed him that the police were aware of his whereabouts.
Following this notification, Mr. Van Rooyen left the area and could no longer be located.
His private motor vehicle was last reported to have been seen in Cape Town.
Mr. Van Rooyen's current whereabouts remain unknown.
