Specialised Security Services (SSS), under the leadership of Mr. Mike Bolhuis, is appealing to the public for information regarding Mr. Pierre Mostert, also known by the nickname “JP”, who is wanted in connection with a fraud case
registered at Kliptown SAPS.
The matter concerns a building-services arrangement with a client, Mrs. Emily Katz, who paid a total of R669 200,00
into an account provided by Mr. Mostert. According to the information received, the promised services did not proceed
as expected, resulting in the client cancelling the arrangement and seeking the return of her money.
DETAILS OF THE CASE:
Mr. Mostert reportedly introduced himself to Mrs. Katz as a service provider offering building services. Relying on the arrangement, Mrs. Katz paid a total amount of R669 200,00 into the account he provided.
On 26 June 2023, Mrs. Katz informed Mr. Mostert that she was cancelling the service because no work was taking place.
In August 2023, Mr. Mostert reportedly agreed to an acknowledgement of debt. However, he subsequently refused to sign the document.
Mrs. Katz thereafter opened a fraud case at Kliptown SAPS under case number 167/10/2023. According to the information supplied to SSS, a warrant of arrest was issued for Mr. Pierre Mostert.

Consumers should insist on a written contract that clearly defines the scope of work, payment milestones, completion dates and remedies in the event of non-performance. Contractor details and references should be independently verified, and payments should be supported by invoices and traceable records.
Where a contractor accepts payment but fails to perform, consumers should preserve all relevant documentation, including proof of payment, correspondence, quotations, contracts and any written acknowledgements of debt. These records may assist law enforcement and legal representatives in determining the appropriate course of action.
SSS appeals to the public to assist in locating Mr. Pierre Mostert, also known as “JP”,
in connection with the matter registered under Kliptown SAPS case number 167/10/2023.
The reported warrant of arrest and the circumstances surrounding the R669 200,00 transaction make information
about his whereabouts relevant to the ongoing legal process.
