On 7 October 2023, numerous suspects entered a family's house in Bapsfontein. A 14-year-old child was killed during the incident.
One vehicle used by the suspects was recovered, and arrests were made.
Currently, two cases are under investigation and the suspects are on trial.
Welbekend CAS 24/10/2023 for murder and Crystal Park CAS 83/10/2023 for possession of an unlicensed firearm.
Warrants of arrest were issued for the following two suspects on Welbekend CAS 83/10/2023.
Both suspects are believed to be in the Daveton Area.

The suspect is currently out on bail and has never returned to court.
He is a Mozambican National.

The suspect was arrested but never enrolled.
A warrant of arrest was later authorised.
Khutso Mathipe is a South African National.

If you have information on the whereabouts of the suspects, you are requested to contact one of the

SSS Specialist Investigators or the SAPS investigator.
