The ongoing success of the projects posted by Specialised Security Services in exposing persons of interest and individuals sought by the South African Police Service (SAPS) was reaffirmed when Mr. Clarence van den Berg voluntarily surrendered to SAPS at the Cleveland Police Station on 23 April 2025. This followed the initial exposé published by SSS on 16 April 2025. Read the initial project for more context:

Mr. Van den Berg is scheduled to appear in the Johannesburg court tomorrow for a bail application in connection

with a fraud case registered at Cleveland SAPS under case number CAS 88/07/2023.

After Mr. Van den Berg failed to respond to multiple requests to rectify the matter and repay our client, a formal project was released across the SSS’s extensive social media platforms. Following sustained pressure and dedicated efforts by SSS Specialist Investigator Mr. Morney Vos, Mr. Van den Berg ultimately handed himself over to the SAPS.

We commend Mr. Vos for his unwavering commitment to pursuing justice.
