AARDKLOP 2025 - VALSKERMBATALJON VERHALE
Die boek Valskermbataljon Verhale is amptelik op 19 Julie 2025 by die Vrystaat Kunstefees, in samewerking met Naledi Uitgewers, vrygestel — en die geleentheid was ’n groot sukses.
Die verkope van die boek is tot dusver uitstekend. Die eerste druk was gou uitverkoop, en die tweede druk is in boekwinkels, aanlyn en by Stellenbosch Woordfees beskikbaar.
Sedert die bekendstelling het daar verskeie onderhoude en boekbesprekings plaasgevind by verskillende feeste, waarvan Aardklop 2025 beslis ’n hoogtepunt was.
Die Aardklop Kunstefees, wat op 11 Oktober 2025 in Potchefstroom plaasgevind het, was ’n reuse sukses. Die boekbespreking het groot belangstelling getrek, en al die beskikbare boeke is binne ’n kort tydjie uitverkoop. Ongeveer 200 mense het die geleentheid bygewoon. Die gehoor het die gesprek met groot entoesiasme gevolg, en ná afloop van die bespreking het almal heerlik saam gekuier.

AARDKLOP ARTS-FESTIVAL 2025 – VALSKERMBATALJON VERHALE
The book Valskermbataljon Verhale was officially launched on 19 July 2025 at the Freestate Arts-Festival, in collaboration with Naledi Publishers — the event was a huge success.
Sales of the book have been excellent so far. The first prnt sold out quickly, and the second print is available online, at Stellenbosch and in bookstores.
Since the launch, several interviews and book discussions have taken place at various festivals, with Aardklop 2025 undoubtedly being one of the highlights.
The Aardklop Arts-Festival, which took place on 11 October 2025 in Potchefstroom, was a huge success. The book discussion drew huge interest, and all available copies were sold out quickly. Around 200 people attended the event. The audience followed the conversation with great enthusiasm, and afterward, everyone enjoyed socialising together.
