ONGOING SSS INVESTIGATION

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY MR. EMILE DE WITT’S INNOCENT LOOKS.
HE IS A SCAMMER ON EVERY LEVEL AND
INVOLVED IN VARIOUS CRIMINAL OFFENCES.
WE HAVE RECEIVED VARIOUS COMPLAINTS AND THEREFORE
WANT TO WARN THE PUBLIC TO STAY CLEAR OF MR. DE WITT.

Mr. Emile De Witt was recently exposed for his notorious modus operandi in the media.
In a widely reported case, a Bryanston couple claimed their R8.9-million property was effectively hijacked by
a “tenant from hell” who refused to pay rent or vacate the home, leaving the owners stressed, out of pocket, and unable to regain access to their luxury residence in Sandton. The matter drew significant attention as an emblematic example of how entrenched and disruptive property disputes over hijacked homes have become in affluent Johannesburg suburbs,
with authorities and affected homeowners alike sounding the alarm on the tactic of tenant takeover
and refusal to comply with rental agreements and eviction processes.
The fact that Mr. De Witt remains at liberty and has not been imprisoned, despite serious and well-documented allegations against him, is beyond comprehension. His continued freedom effectively enables the ongoing repetition of the same alleged criminal conduct, exposing further victims to financial loss, emotional distress, and prolonged legal battles.
This situation raises serious concerns about systemic delays, enforcement failures,
and the apparent inability of existing legal mechanisms to act decisively against repeat offenders.
THE OTHER MOST RECENT CASES:
1. There are currently 16 registered cases from SAPS Vanderbijlpark and 8 cases from SAPS Barrage with Adv Sithole from the NPA Pretoria.
All these cases are related to properties sold by Mr. Emile de Witt that do not belong to him.
According to the complainants, they noted advertisements on the "properties for sale" page on Facebook.
Mr. Emile De Witt was identified as the culprit in these illegal transactions.
In 2023 these cases were transferred from the local CID to the Provincial Investigation Unit.
2. Many cases were opened all over the Vaal Triangle, Vereeniging, Meyerton, Sasolburg, Kliprivier, and even as far as Clocolan in the Free State.
3. Whilst Mr. Emile de Witt was on bail for the alleged rape of young girls and other Schedule 6 offences, he was re-arrested on fraud charges by the Brackendowns SAPS in Alberton.
He allegedly changed the ownership of 16 Companies from a Legal firm.
After changing the ownership, Mr. De Witt and his brother, Mr. Leon Reece, went to 2 banks in Vanderbijlpark trying to change the ownership of these Trust accounts.
The only reason he was caught was due to a staff member at the bank, also a follower of Mike Bolhuis, who saw all the projects that were sent out, warning the public about Mr. Emile De Witt.
She immediately alerted the attorneys, and he was prevented from gaining access to the 16 trust accounts.
He was yet again released on bail, although the court was aware of Mr. De Witt being out on bail for numerous fraud cases.
The case was temporarily withdrawn so that the other accomplices could be arrested, including his brother, Mr. Leon Reece.
A warrant of arrest has been issued for the alleged accomplices.
4. Another case was opened in connection with 4 vehicles Mr. Emile de Witt allegedly purchased but never paid.
According to the complainant, Mr. De Witt also registered himself on 3 of her companies without her knowledge at the CIPC.
This case is still being investigated.
According to the complainant, the case has now been transferred to the Hawks in Germiston.
5. Mr. De Witt has been in the news for numerous property fraud cases, including Carte Blanche and the Devi Show.
6. We are currently investigating a case whereby Mr. Emile De Witt offered our client a R3,000,000.00 house in exchange for her vehicle, valued at around R700,000.00.
According to our client, Mr. Emile de Witt offered her friend employment as a Project Manager for a development in the Sandton area.
He then advised her that in exchange for the vehicle, he would give her a townhouse unit, worth R3000,000.00.
He was going to use the vehicle for a competition he was running, whereby people who buy a unit in this development could win one of 4 vehicles.
She gave him the vehicle and they signed a contract.
After 3 weeks, she received a call from We Buy Cars, asking if she had sold her vehicle to Mr. Emile De Witt.
She informed them that she never sold it to Mr. De Witt.
According to our client, We Buy Cars advised her that Mr. De Witt gave them an invoice indicating the transaction.
This case is still being investigated by our office.
A possible criminal case will be opened once we have established all the facts.
7. In another case, a young lady who worked at a guesthouse as a receptionist was confronted by Mr. Emile De Witt and his wife, who booked in for the night.
They overheard the lady and her manager having an altercation.
He then offered the lady employment.
Later, he asked the lady if he could borrow her vehicle.
Trusting him, she then agreed to lend her vehicle to him.
Mr. Emile De Witt never returned.
She later found out that her vehicle was registered in Mr. Emile de Witt's name.
A fraud case was opened with the SAPS.
She was one of the lucky ones who managed to recover her vehicle.
8. Mr. Emile De Witt is currently using a company that belongs to his wife, Mrs. Monique de Lange, who offers townhouse units for sale.
According to the website, the company is a level 1 BEEE company.
As Mrs. De Lange is the only director of the company, it is almost impossible for it to be a Level 1 BEEE company.
According to an application she made to the Johannesburg City Council, the address is 69 Lake Ave, Benoni.
According to Google Maps, the address belongs to a tyre company and not the company of Mrs. Monique De Lange.
